Science Technology Engineering Math: Outreach; Mentor; Accelerate
Christen Campbell, CEO
About Christen
Christen is an Aerospace Engineer with an Aerospace Engineering degree from Virginia Tech. During college she was a member of Society of Women Engineers, AIAA, the National Scholars Honor Society, and the Honors Co-ed Fraternity Phi Sigma Pi. Additionally, she tutored students in physics, algebra and calculus. Christen's scope of work is R&D for the Department of Defense and NASA on guidance systems of the Trident Missile project, low earth orbit telescopes, and deep space exploration missions. Christen specializes in finite element analysis to predict product reactions to real-world forces, vibration, heat, fluid flow, and other physical effects. She uses theoretical physics to model structural analysis, nonlinear and random dynamics, heat transfer, fluid flow, mass transport, and electromagnetic potential. Christen is also a certified personal trainer, WNBF (bodybuilding) bikini competitor and advocate for health and fitness. She loves being quirky, creative and using humor during her training or mentorship meetings. Recognizing a void in the school system for mentorship, primarily for young women, and a lack of youth, culture and creativity in the industry, Christen founded C.C STEM Outreach. Her mission is to connect with youth and inspire more creative talent to become engineers and scientists.
